DONOR MESSAGES

Thank you for taking the time to check out our fundraiser campaign for this upcoming 2025 baseball season.

As we go into this upcoming season we need help from family and friends of the program to help us reach our goals.

When Coach Magni took over as head of the program in 2023 his goal was to give the players an experience that rivals that of a 4 year college program. Getting to experience an NCAA program himself, he strives to be able to offer some of the same benefits that are offered at the next level. One of these benefits is the opportunity to participate in spring training down in Florida for spring break. For the third consecutive year HCC has been offered the opportunity to participate in the RussMatt Invitational Tournament down in Orlando, Florida. This is an exceptional opportunity for the players to experience what it is like to prepare for a season at the next level. Not only does the trip allow for an awesome team bonding experience, it also gives the players something to look forward to as we train in the gym during the dreary winter months. Besides that, the trip benefits the team overall, as we are able to get on a field and play competitive games before we open our conference schedule back home. Without fundraising this trip would cost around $1000 per player out of pocket, including transportation, fuel, housing, and tournament fees. Our goal is to get that number to less than a 1/3 of that after help from fundraising. Every dollar raised will go directly to helping us achieve our goal of going down south to train, and if we are lucky enough to raise the total for the trip we will allocate any excess funds for team equipment, field improvements, or a team dinner while on the trip.

We hope you will consider making a donation to our campaign this year. Once again, all donations directly help the players have the lowest out of pocket cost possible for this opportunity. Without support from the community this trip would not become a reality, as the school does not provide any funds for us taking the trip.

We understand that not everyone is in a financial position to donate to the campaign. Regardless if you are able to make a contribution or not, we hope to see you come out and support us at a game this upcoming season!

Thank you for taking the time to read through this, and Go Cougars!

Why We're Proud to be Cougars

It's a special experience and responsibility to be a collegiate student-athlete today.  We're carrying the same academic workload as all of the other students here PLUS devoting so many hours every week to taking our game to a new level.  It's not always easy but we know the lessons learned will serve us all well in the future.

Message from Coach Magni
Thank you for your support of Ryan Magni and our entire Holyoke CC Cougars Baseball team. Coaching today is about much more than teaching tactics and skills. Our student-athletes are peer role models and many of them will be leaders in our society. Winning is an important part of my mission but so is ensuring that our players practice and compete in a safe, healthy and positive environment. Your support helps make that possible.
