Why We're Proud to be Chargers

We’re proud to share with you a couple of highlights about our program that reflect the hard work we put in on and off the field:

- 2026 was the inaugural varsity softball season in Colby-Sawyer history, with Kay'lee Justice serving as the program's first head coach.

- The Chargers recorded our first victory in program history on April 1, defeating Dean 4–1

- We finished the inaugural regular season with another milestone: the first doubleheader sweep in program history, defeating Elms 3–2 and 5–1

- With seven first-year players on the roster last spring, and eight added for this year we have a great foundation to build on

Thank you for your support of and our entire Colby-Sawyer Softball team. Coaching today is about much more than teaching tactics and skills. Our student-athletes are peer role models and many of them will be leaders in our society. Winning is an important part of my mission but so is ensuring that our players practice and compete in a safe, healthy and positive environment. Your support helps make that possible.
